CoEPP held a call on 29 August 2024 with its focal points from Southeast Asia National Societies to gain a deeper understanding of the preparedness actions that each of the countries and National Societies are taking in response to the global mpox situation. 

Singapore Red Cross (SRC) Centre of Excellence for Pandemic Preparedness and Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) jointly organised the Pandemic Readiness Enhancement Programme, Practitioner Track (PREP 2024). Held in Bogor, Indonesia from 1 to 5 July,  PREP 2024 is targeted at bolstering the knowledge and skills enabling practitioners to contribute to the resilience of the organisation and the communities they work with.  

The Singapore Red Cross (SRC) launched a public appeal to deliver assistance and support communities in South Asia and Southeast Asia, affected or at risk of being affected by the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
