The Pandemic Preparedness Profile (P3) is CoEPP’s core strategy to strengthen pandemic readiness across Southeast Asia. Developed as a self-assessment and capacity-building tool, the P3 enables National Societies to evaluate their preparedness across three pillars: Prevent, Detect, and Respond.
Adapted from global frameworks such as WHO’s Preparedness and Resilience for Emerging Threats (PRET) and the Joint External Evaluation Tool, a component under the International Health Regulations (IHR, 2005), and contextualised for Southeast Asia, the P3 guides National Societies in identifying gaps, prioritising investments, and enhancing coordination with government and community partners.
By using the P3 as a regional benchmark, CoEPP supports a unified, evidence-based approach to pandemic preparedness - one that builds resilience from the ground up.
