The dialogue brings together the Friends of CoEPP — partners from across the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement — to exchange knowledge, assess capacities, and align priorities. Through regional gatherings, we surface emerging needs, identify preparedness gaps, and ensure our initiatives are rooted in the realities of frontline actors.
Friends of CoEPP Dialogue 2025 | Singapore. 20-22 May
The 2025 Dialogue convened Friends of CoEPP from eight Southeast Asian National Societies to chart the next phase of our shared preparedness journey. Over three days, we reaffirmed our commitment to regional solidarity, surfaced practical insights from the field, and shaped strategic directions. The insights from this Dialogue will directly inform CoEPP’s 2025–2027 work plan - focused on joint trainings, regional fundraising initiatives, and scaling community resilience programmes across the Movement.
Strategic Alignment: National Societies assessed their progress using the Pandemic Preparedness Profile, sharing innovations in surveillance, digital tools, and auxiliary role enhancement.
Collaborative Resource Building: Discussions focused on diversifying funding through regional fundraising strategies and new partnership models.
Expert and Peer Insights: Prof. Paul Tambyah’s update on disease trends and showcases from Thai and Timor-Leste Red Cross informed forward planning.
